WHAT YOU NEED TO CREATE A
Zero Waste future
Every home, school and business has recycling and composting bins. There are six key facilities to process your materials. The community invests in Zero Waste facilities and businesses and never builds another landfill or incinerator.
Zero Waste means changing the rules. Incentives reward recycling over trash. Products must be non-toxic, reusable and recyclable.
We’re changing behavior and changing culture, so we need all hands on deck. Programs engage everyone in the community on how and why to participate in Zero Waste.
A Zero Waste community is not built by government alone. It’s citizens, businesses and government working together to create a better future. Each of us has a role to play in creating change and actions we can take every day to get closer to Zero Waste.
